CEO: Laurence Nicholls
Commercial Pilot on both fixed wing and rotary aircraft, is
CEO of JF SSA (Pty) Ltd. He has been involved in the
aviation industry since 1974, selling and leasing corporate
jets, turbo props and helicopters together with airliners,
including Boeing and Airbus. In his 46 years of aviation, he
has gathered a vast network of aviation experts and
contacts. He plays an enormous role in procurement and
negotiation.
Operations Director: Johan Borstlap
Johan has been involved in the aviation industry since 1978, holding various senior positions in
airlines, aviation maintenance company, fuel supply company at Pilanesberg, airport handling
company at OR Tambo, Government tourist authorities and government delegations.
He is also the holder of an ATP pilots licence and served as an airline pilot for 25 years flying B727,
B737, MD80, DC9, G3 and a host of smaller jets and turbo prop aircraft. Prior to establishing Sun Air
he was employed as MD for BOP AIR where he acted as Chief Pilot and flew the presidential G3
aircraft.
Financial Director: Clifford Nyathi
Financial Director of JF SSA (Pty) Ltd. Clifford Nyathi was
born and raised in Botswana. He comes from a background
of transport and logistics as a 3rd generation of the family
trade. A graduate of Chartered Institute of Management
Accountants. With a strong understanding of corporate
finance, start up financing and business operations.
Currently pursuing an M8A.
Freight Director: Andrew Geddes
Freight Operations Director of JF SSA (Pty) Ltd. Andrew has over 36 years of experience in the Freight / Logistics /
Procurement, Import and Export industry, of which 26 years
were with Safmarine, where he held position of Commercial
Marketing Executive before deciding to start his own Fruit
Export, Logistics business in 2014. Andrew graduated with
BCom through Unisa and later with an International
Institute of Marketing diploma through Wits Business
School. In his 36 years of doing business Andrew has
gathered a vast network of professionals, experts and
contacts in the freight, logistics, export & import field.
